An important meeting of the Indian Journalists Association was held on Sunday at the Menhdawal Dak Bungalow, where the organization's expansion and future roadmap were unanimously discussed. During the meeting, senior journalist Dharmendra Mishra was nominated as Tehsil President for the third consecutive time through an election process. Addressing the meeting, District Presidents Surya Prakash Pandey, K.D. Siddiqui, and Sunil Yadav expressed deep concern over the declining standards of journalism and the challenges facing journalists. The organization's objective is not only to address journalists' problems but also to strengthen their accountability to society. Additionally, a framework was developed for the creation of Ayushman cards and insurance for journalists, which could address their health problems. During the meeting, all journalists present unanimously supported Dharmendra Mishra's nomination, noting his dedication and activism to the organization during his previous two terms. Other positions within the Tehsil unit were also discussed, and it was announced that the entire executive committee would soon be expanded. Everyone congratulated the newly appointed president by garlanding him and wished the organization a bright future under his leadership. Expressing gratitude for being elected Tehsil president for the third time, Dharmendra Mishra said he would strive to fulfill the trust the organization has placed in him with full dedication. He said, "Our struggle to protect the dignity and rights of journalists will continue. We will also involve journalists from rural areas to make the organization more transparent and stronger." Journalists present included Rajiv Mishra, Vimlesh Tripathi, Vikas Agrahari, Ram Anuj Mishra, Kushal Dubey, Gorakhnath Rai, Shivendra Kumar, Kamlesh Yadav, Lalkesh, Vasudev Yadav, Prem Kumar, Rahul Tripathi, and Shivmurti.
