Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
An essay based on the life of 'Souhard Shiramani' (Crown Jewel of Harmony) Saint Dr. Saurabh Pandey has been included in the Class 11 Hindi textbook of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board). This essay has been authored by Dr. Amitabh, while the book itself is written by Sarvesh Kant Verma. It has been published by Nagin Prakashan.
In the current academic session, students across various schools in the state are studying this lesson. The essay presents—in simple and effective language—the life, social work, environmental conservation efforts, and initiatives toward inter-faith harmony undertaken by Saint Dr. Saurabh Pandey, a resident of the village Bhasma in the Gorakhpur district.
His vision of bringing various religions together on a single platform through the 'Dharadham' initiative has also been given prominence in the lesson. According to educators, such inspiring lessons are proving instrumental in fostering moral values, a spirit of service, and a sense of social responsibility among students.
Students, too, have described the essay as both inspiring and enlightening. Education experts believe that such lessons play a pivotal role in guiding the new generation in a positive direction.
