The 6th National Thaiboxing Championship concluded successfully at Ananta Convention Center, Ashapuri, Varanasi. Chief Guest of the Championship - Honorable Dayashankar Mishra, (Minister of State, Independent Charge, Government of Uttar Pradesh) was President (Thaiboxing Association of Uttar Pradesh). On this occasion, President of Thaiboxing India Federation Pasha Attar, Senior Vice President Deepak Prasad, Senior Martial Artist Saeed Alam Ji were present. Special Guest - Harsh Madhok, Director Sunbeam Group of Educational Institutions, and Guests of Honour included Manisha Rani, General Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Ring Tennis Association, Fasahaat Hussain (Babu), Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee, Seraj Ahmad Quraishi, National President, Indian Journalist Association, Dharmendra Kumar Singh, Vishnu Pandey, Ajay Yadav, Suhail Akhtar honoured the players by giving them medals and winner and runner-up team trophies. In the national competition, Maharashtra won, Uttar Pradesh was runner-up and Chhattisgarh got the third place. 415 players and 52 players from 15 states including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Telangana, Tamil Nadu participated in the competition. The officials participated. Maharashtra team captured the winning trophy by performing brilliantly in the competition, Uttar Pradesh got second and Chhattisgarh got third place, Syed Imran Hussain, General Secretary of Thaiboxing Association of Uttar Pradesh, said that Ramlakhan Shastri, Awadhesh Kumar, Mohd. Azhar Khan, Shiv Pratap Shahi, Sartaj Ahmed Siddiqui, Abhishek Sonkar, Saddam Khan, Nilesh, Nizamuddin Mohd. Shadab, Atul Pandey, Satyam Yadav, Rashid Ahmed, Rajesh Kumar, Kamini, Anup Kumar, Shadab Hussain, Dheeraj Mishra, Mohd. Adab, Gulsher Ahmed and other volunteers played an important role in making the championship successful, medical team and ambulance facility was provided by Pramila Hospital, the program was successfully conducted by Ravindra Sahu ji, on this occasion Master Syed Alam was honored with Life Time Achievement Award, the guests who came to the competition congratulated the medal winning players and wished them bright future Wished for the future.
