Indian Journalist Association organized a grand tree plantation program under the "One Tree in the Name of Mother" campaign.

With the aim of spreading the message of environmental protection, green development, and respect for mothers, the Indian Journalist Association, Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) unit organized a massive tree plantation program at Khanqah Ameer-e-Millat, Hanumantal Garden, and Mandi Madar Tekri Cemetery premises under the Prime Minister's inspirational campaign "One Tree in the Name of Mother." Journalists, social workers, intellectuals, and representatives of various social organizations enthusiastically participated in the program and pledged to protect the environment.

Addressing the program, State President Mohammad Ashfaq Arif said that "One Tree in the Name of Mother" is not just a campaign, but a symbol of our culture, sensibilities, and environmental responsibilities. Mothers give us life, and trees also provide us with life-giving oxygen, a clean environment, and natural balance. Therefore, every person should plant at least one tree in honor of their mother and nurture it.

He said that in light of increasing pollution, climate change, and the depletion of natural resources, the need for tree planting has increased more than ever. The Indian Journalists Association is actively involved not only in the interests of journalists but also in social and public issues. He appealed to those present to make planting a tree a tradition on their birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and other special occasions.

District President Chandra Mohan Vishwakarma, in his address, said, "Every tree is a priceless gift for future generations. Trees not only maintain environmental balance but also improve the quality of human life. If we protect trees today, we can provide a clean and healthy environment for future generations."

He said that the Indian Journalists Association Jabalpur unit is continuously participating in various social programs and will continue to prioritize journalist unity, environmental awareness, social service, and public welfare. He expressed his gratitude to all present and urged them to take a pledge to regularly care for the planted trees.

During the program, all present took a pledge to plant trees as well as protect and preserve them. Speakers emphasized that trees not only protect the environment but also play a vital role in maintaining human life, biodiversity, and natural balance.

The program concluded in a cordial atmosphere, and all participants conveyed the message that the need of the hour is to make the "One Tree in the Name of Mother" campaign a mass movement and involve as many people as possible. At the end of the program, everyone was thanked and a collective pledge was made for environmental protection and the creation of a green India.

On this occasion, many dignitaries including State President of Indian Journalist Association Madhya Pradesh Mohammad Ashfaq Arif, senior journalist and Sardar of Pathan community Haji Muin Khan, District President of Muslim Vikas Parishad Dr. Muin Ansari, District President of Indian Journalist Association Jabalpur Chandra Mohan Vishwakarma, Faizan Qureshi, Tikaram Koshta, Mehtab Alam, Mukhtar Ansari, Irfan Qureshi, Bablu Mansoori, Sajid Khan, Shahid Qureshi, Tariq Qureshi, Ashraf Qureshi and Muzaffar Qureshi expressed their commitment towards environmental protection by planting trees.
