With the aim of environmental protection, greenery promotion, and providing a clean environment to future generations, A Tree Plantation Program was organized under the aegis of the Indian Journalist Association® as part of the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0" campaign on Sunday, June 7th, at 8:00 am at the Normal School Campus and Chakla Doyam, Gorakhpur. The plantation was carried out by the organization's National President Seraj Ahmed Qureshi and senior officials. Neem, Amla, Harsingar, Adhaul, Mango, Peepal, etc. trees were planted during the program.

On this occasion, Seraj Ahmad Quraishi, Founder/National President of the Indian Journalist Association, said that plants not only enhance the beauty of nature but also provide the greatest support for a safe and healthy human life. In today's era of increasing pollution, global warming, and environmental crisis, it is the moral responsibility of every person to plant at least one tree and pledge to care for it. He further stated that "One Tree in the Name of Mother" is not just a campaign, but a message of respect for mothers, love for nature, and future security. Just as a mother gives life, plants are the foundation of life on Earth. They provide us with oxygen, purify the atmosphere, and play a vital role in maintaining climate balance. A tree not only grows into a tree, but also becomes a source of clean air, shade, fruits, medicine, and environmental protection for future generations. Trees also help attract rainfall, prevent soil erosion, and preserve biodiversity. Therefore, every person should plant at least one tree in their lifetime and pledge to care for it. Journalists play an important role in creating awareness about environmental protection.

National Organization Secretary Akhilesh Dhar Dwivedi said that tree plantation is not just a program, but our responsibility towards nature and humanity. This tree plantation campaign will be run by the Indian Journalist Association across the country.

The program pledged that every person should plant at least one tree. They pledged to regularly care for the planted trees. They should raise awareness about environmental protection. By increasing greenery, we should provide a secure future for future generations. Inspiring slogans were raised, including, "One tree for Mother Earth, let greenery become the pride of the country." "Plant a tree today, and tomorrow we will have a clean future." "Save trees – save lives." "This is Mother Earth's call: plant trees again and again." "A tree in every hand, love for nature in every heart."

On this occasion, National General Secretary Mohammad Irfanullah Khan, National Organization Secretary Akhilesh Dhar Dwivedi, Zonal Secretary Gorakhpur Satish Mani Tripathi, District Spokesperson Ramashankar Gupta, Tehsil Vice President Gorakhpur Ajmer Khan, Parmanand Ji, Meraj Ahmed, Satish Chand, Ashutosh Kumar, Zuber Alam, Dr. Atiq Ahmad, Naved Alam, Mohammad Azam, Rafi Ahmad, Mohammad Ahmad Khan, journalists and environmentalists were present.
